Chez Charlotte - Edmundston

Great food, 4 course service, served at a reasonable pace with no rush to get us out! We were on a Thursday night, a slow night for them, 5 of us in our group, and we had the front area all to ourselves. It allowed us to discuss many things without others hearing us! Their price is above the average costs of comparable meals of other restaurants in the area but they are more on the fine dining side and a class apart!

We went to this restaurant in February (2016) on the occasion of Valentine's Day and we were rather disappointed. We had been warned that quality had been significantly reduced in recent times and that it was no longer the restaurant that it was. We were served a kind of salad with mango in the entrance, followed by a lamb square (if I remember correctly) and a dessert fondue. apart from the main dish, the other two dishes were rather ordinary; It didn't blow us up in the mouth- it wasn't wow. I wouldn't think I'd go back. It was very expensive paid (over $100.00) for what it was worth. We had very great expectations, since it seemed to be the only chic restaurant of edmundston, and we were pretty disappointed.

The restaurant offers excellent service with helpful recommendations for choosing dishes. The menu features fresh ingredients and delicious options, including perfectly cooked rosé duck magret. They also offer a variety of quality wines at reasonable prices. It's a peaceful setting for a relaxing meal.

This restaurant is very well maintained and the service is excellent. The chef always excels in presenting the dishes. The atmosphere is pleasant and cozy. I really enjoy this place.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at Chez Charlotte in August while traveling to Halifax. We were warmly welcomed by Charlotte herself and felt right at home. The food and service were exceptional, and the cozy atmosphere of the small dining room was exactly what we were hoping for, complete with romantic background music. We were impressed to learn that Charlotte and Bert, the talented chef, personally selected the local ingredients and music for the restaurant. Bert even went out of his way to fulfill my wife's request for a specific song that wasn't played during our meal. My wife enjoyed the experience so much that she suggested we consider our visit to Chez Charlotte as her birthday dinner, as we wouldn't find anything like it back home in Fort Worth, Texas. Despite going out for her birthday separately, nothing could compare to the unforgettable evening we had at Chez Charlotte.
