Take Five - Edmonton

We're here today, the coffee is good, but we were disappointed with the donuts. It used to have unique donuts, but now they are just like Timmys or other coffee spots. They used to make the most delicious vanilla, honey and chocolate cakes like... crossers. We loved them, but they didn't have them anymore. I know his thing, but we really enjoyed it. Maybe they could be brought back. Thank you.

I absolutely adore this restaurant! It's not just the amazing donuts (I highly recommend the Black Forest), but also the fresh sandwiches, chili, and delicious coffee! The owner has been the same for decades and continues to put so much dedication into everything they create, just like the first day they opened. The staff is friendly, the service is great, and the place is always clean and welcoming for customers to sit and enjoy their food.

Do you want to experience the old school ma and pa style diner completely with freshly made daily donuts? Take five! Breakfast sandwiches here rock my world! The donuts are better than the freeze-dried chain we don't talk about as if you don't believe! Chilli,... soups, sandwiches, coffee, this place is such a great little neighborhood booklet, I hope it just stays forever!

Dropped in for a doughnut coffee after reading the great reviews of this place. It was early afternoon and there was only a couple crullers and cinnamon twists left. These were my target. A cup of coffee and the doughnuts were reasonably priced. Unfortunately,...the cruller was a bit old dry, and the cinnamon twist was ..... just ok. Maybe they were made in the early morning hours and were waiting for my afternoon taste? I'll give this place another try some day, meanwhile, there are plenty of other temptations on 118 ave.
