Sunny Street Cafe - Edmonton

Based on previous reviews I was hoping I had found a hidden gem but I did not. Probably should have known what I was in for when I told a server we were ready to order and she responded "you will have to wait". I could maybe overlook the rude response if they were busy but only ⅓ of the tables were occupied. The food seemed to take a long time to come out and when it got to the table it was luke warm at best. My eggs benedict was bland and the English muffins were so dry I could barely saw through them. I persevered but the table beside us sent their food back. To top it all off the bathroom absolutely reeked of the smell of old urine. Will NOT be back.

Fast serving, hot coffee. Big enough menu to please anyone, Had the Chirizo omelette. Tasty and with a kick. Defenetly worth a try if you in the neighbourhood.

A friendly, smiling manager greets you, staff are very efficient and friendly, breakfast is very moderately priced and is very filling and tasty.

Had a group of fellow businessmen here for a function last week and the staff was both accommodating and very understanding of how to run a function. Maybe out of the norm for a otherwise modest but great location this breakfast and lunch go to place is on my top 5 list in Edmonton.

We ate breakfast here using a Groupon. Menu items were very ordinary, and possibly a bit overpriced considering what one can get weekdays around town. Waitress was very good and the sunny surroundings was a definite plus.
