Bidra med feedbackAllow me to share with you the experience we just had with this God forsaken chicken restaurant. We just ordered from this Popeye 's location on Skip The Dishes. It was about a $50 order not that you could tell. The following is an itemized list of the food items that we did not receive: 1 Popcorn Shrimp 1 Gravy 1 Biscuit 1 Can of Ginger Ale 1 Buffalo Dip Now, a rational person might think Hey, thanks for keeping my weight in check, Popeye 's! But to be honest, we were a little disappointed. To add insult to injury, apparently Skip The Dishes is not aware that Popeye 's sides actually suck without gravy, and they 'll show little sympathy to your refund request for your sides when this Popeye 's restaurant inevitably denies you your gravy. The final hair in our figurative chicken was a literal hair in our literal chicken. Thankfully this hair was so thick and silver that it managed to catch our attention before it graced anyone 's lips. To summarize: I am more than a little disappointed with the quality of the food and service at this Popeye 's. I almost feel as if a crime was perpetrated against me tonight. Probably won 't make this mistake again.
I used a coupon from a recent Elks game (I hope they win at home sometime), to purchase 4 chicken nuggets (which were delicious). I then bought a 9-2-4 chicken piece special to take home. The chicken items were large (50% spicy and 50% regular, a nice option). Tried the Cajun fries (average) and biscuits (yummy). I had leftover chicken, the next day, and thought it in tasted better than when hot. Lots of free parking, as well.
Terrible service. When I asked about the daily meal deals I was rudely told they don?t honour them at this location. When I said that I?ve bought meal deals from here I was hurried out of the store. Had to send my gf back in so that we could get food. Won?t be going back here again. Would rather pay extra for SFC or ANY other fried chicken spot than going back to this location.
I actually called the health inspector... So here's what happened: On Aug 17, I walked into this Popeyes location and ordered 2 meals for carry-out. When I got home and we opened our meals we found the chicken was slimy and raw, which is absolutely dangerous because of the salmonella risk. So we tossed out all the food and I pulled out my receipt to call the restaurant and let them know. I was hoping to speak to someone in charge, note the complaint and get some reassurance on how they will fix it but that did NOT happen. The phone number on the receipt just goes to some corporate feedback line in the USA. Nobody answered or returned my voicemail. So I contacted their feedback about the salmonella. A lady named Vicky responded saying that they take that seriously and the restaurant would reach out to me within three to five business days to let me how they would fix the food safety issue for guests. Nobody contacted me. Like at all. A week later I emailed Vicky again to let her know that nobody contacted me and that they had failed their promise to look into the issue, failed their service to respond to me and failed to serve quality food. Again she responded saying that she all try and contact the restaurant again and take the issue seriously. A week later they still haven't tried to reach out. I have since notified the Alberta health inspector and The Canada food safety inspector.... Do not eat here. It's a health and safety risk. They don't care.
The girl at the till was very friendly and patient. The chicken was Hot, A- Class just what you would expect from popeyes. Unfortunately it was already past closing time,so they did takeaways only. will come back for sure :
