Jay Bee's Diner North - Edmonton

The staff is really nice here, and the atmosphere is great; they even have a robot that can bring you your food. The food is hit and miss, depending what you're getting. That being said, we've ordered in a few times and went to the restaurant once, and will go back.

My husband and I were invited to Jay Bees Diner for lunch and we were absolutely smitten by the place. We got authentic diner vibes with a modern day twist. The menu was easy to read, and our server was extremely knowledgeable about the menu. We tried the nachos (so loaded with toppings), chicken and waffles (crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside), a classic fish and chips (so flavourful) and the house recommended beef brisket sandwich which ended up being our favourite dish! We also got a milkshake and smoothie from the juice bar which came in the classic gusto mugs. It was all so nostalgic. Towards the end of our meal, we had the pleasure of meeting the owner Sam who was so friendly and funny and enhanced our overall experience. We were excited because of the reviews and wanted to try out the food. The food was meh. The mushroom soup tasted like slurried flour. Sausage and ham was overcooked. We ordered hash potatoes but it was dry. We paid $70 Service was great though.

Been here several times and was satisfied. But tonight the service was so awful. Slow as heck. got our friends order wrong . and that stupid automated robot thing kept making my other friend have to move her chair. the server did not apologize for anything. I would love to say her name but I will refrain. I would recommend this place to people before, but no longer.

Enjoyed a Smoked Mozza Ravioli at Jay Bee's, the ravioli was perfectly cooked with a delicious rose sauce. Paired it with a refreshing Lemonade. The place has a warm and cozy vibe, absolutely worth a visit!
