Denny's - Edmonton

It seems strange that with fish and chips Denny 's would serve you garlic bread (instead of something like coleslaw). Were they worried there wasn 't enough carbs? The fish tasted like something out of the frozen foods section of a supermarket (cooked by somebody who forgot to take it out of the oven in time) and the fries were dry and tasteless. Decaf coffee was okay....but I thought 3,45 was a bit steep for a cup of coffee. My partner 's burger was surprisingly good. The atmosphere was typical Denny 's. The background music was classic 'prog ' rock....which would be fine if it was coming out of a decent sound system. Service was okay.

My husband and I have been to this Denny's location a few times and were always satisfied with the food, the service and the cleanliness and comfort of a laid back restaurant. Dianne, our server today was friendly and attentive. We will definitely pay more return visits to Denny's Stony Plain when we're in the city.

Being a celiac and therefore gluten free it is usually hard to find a restaurant to cater to your needs. Saw large assortment of gluten free items, and it made me feel like a kid in a candy store. Food was excellent and service supreme. Can't wait to try Denny's back at home.

Awesome place. Great staff and food. Must visit. Despite being busy they are very accommodating and hardworking. Service is fast.
