Delux Burger Bar - Edmonton

I haven't been to a delux burger bar in years. Well over 5 is my guess. And I am kicking myself and saying why not. Right from the service, down to the last bite it was prefect. I had the blacken chicken burger, wife had the halibut burger, mom and daughter shared the Cheeseburger bacon poutine and son had the hot dogs and not once person complained about that they ordered or had leftovers. I will be back very soon to try something else on the menu.

My wife and I went for dinner on a week night in August. The room is a lot smaller than I thought it was going to be. Very nice décor, comfy room that doesn't feel cramped. Got our table quickly and the server was there right away to take our drink order. We both had a drink and split some nachos to start. The nachos were good, lots of cheese and a full plate. Not as spicy as I like them but still really good. The guacamole was very fresh. We both had their special Lemon burger supporting a fundraiser for the Stollery's Children Hospital. I can honestly say this was one of the best hamburgers I have ever had. It was a good size and was so full of flavor and was juicy without being a sloppy mess. They came with seasoned lemon fries and those were very good too. My wife loved the lemon mayo dip. I would go back just for this burger but I'm going to try something else next time to see if their other choices are just as good. Burgers were a little more expensive than other places but so much better than what you get at those places. Good service, very good food, nice location. We'll be back for sure.

We went there last month,we were sitting there about 20 mins,3 waitress walking around us but no one come say hello.they don't even look at you (not busy time,lots of empty table)we left to 5 guys burger in windermere,they are better service and half price of the burger.I won't come back for a $20 burger in this place.

This was not our first visit to Delux Burger Bar. We arrived on a Friday evening at around 6:15 pm and were able to get seated right away. I like the menu as there is enough choice without overwhelming with options. We enjoyed a wonderful chicken appetizer. I believe was called Jon Ho (I have probably messed up the name) it was very good and we finished it off embarrassingly quickly. I was tempted at the chicken wings as the surrounding tables had ordered them and they LOOK GOOD (next trip). My wife ordered the halibut burger which is a wonderful compromise between a burger and fish & chips. This is the 3rd time she has ordered is so it should give you a clue. I went with the Cajun chicken sandwich. Both burgers served on a Brioche bun with other options available. The Cajun burger could have had a bit more bite but is was thoroughly tasty. The fries are hand cut on site bringing them much higher up the ++scale as far as I'm concerned. I enjoyed the house wine although I think there is enough choice if you are a bit more picky about wine. The place is fine for kids. I would say over about 8 as the chairs are high and frankly the visit would be wasted on a younger kid. 5 stars. Good service and you won't leave hungry
