Bidra med feedbackFirst time to order but will not be my last. Delicious quick service. Friendly owner. The ginger beef Delicious Spicy shrimp Delicious Special chop suey Delicious I will order and pick up from here again. Located in strip mall by save on and shoppers drug...mart.
I ordered the meal for two at this restaurant for the first time. The staff member who took my order was friendly and helpful. The delivery was fast, and all the dishes I ordered were delicious, still warm, and came in generous portions. I will definitely be ordering from this restaurant again.
We stopped in to order. They seemed busy, so I figured this must be an alright place to eat. OMG was I wrong. This was by far the worst and most terrible Chinese Food I have ever eaten! The biggest waste of $68...we threw it...in the garbage and had to order a pizza! I will never eat here again and these are the reasons why: chicken fried rice was so dry and had absolutely no flavour at all! I couldn't even try to flavour it with soya sauce, since they were so cheap with it chicken chop suey tasted like onion chop suey, it literally had no other flavour but onion (I guess good if you like to just eat onions) lemon chicken was inedible I literally could not even cut through it with my knife. It was like a piece of rubber that you could not chew (and super cheap with the lemon sauce) beef and vegetables had no flavour except ginger....you taste ginger but nothing else Now I will say that they give great portion sizes...but that is only good if you can actually eat the food. I honestly just wanted to put it back on their doorstep. Never again! Very disappointing especially when you are only in Edmonton for one night!
The restaurant is situated at the intersection of Ellerslie Road and 111 Street and is located in a strip mall. They offer free parking and table service. The atmosphere is usually calm and the restaurant is clean. The food is of good quality and not overly oily. We tried the Kung Pao Chicken, which arrived promptly within 10-15 minutes. While the taste was good, we found the portion size to be small and not worth the $15 price tag.
We called this restaurant around 5:30 on New Year's Eve and were informed that the wait for pickup would be 2.5 hours, to which we agreed. Upon arriving at 8pm, our food was not ready. Prior customers had experienced issues such as missing or incorrect items in their orders. By 8:20, our food was finally prepared. Unfortunately, upon checking our order slip stapled to the paper bag, we discovered that we had received wonton soup instead of the spring rolls we had ordered. Additionally, the chicken fried rice was disappointing, as it was dry and crispy, prompting us to opt for steamed rice instead. However, despite steamed rice being checked off on the order slip, we were given chicken rice instead. Overall, our experience was very disappointing and we will not be returning. A message to the owner: if customers are made to wait almost 3 hours for their food, it should be worth the wait, orders should be accurate, and the quality of the dishes, like the chicken rice, should be reconsidered due to its dry and crunchy texture. - James and Lisa
