Cafe at Holts - Edmonton

I went to the restaurant for lunch and ordered the Holt burger with a side of house salad. I have to say, it was one of the best burgers I've ever had. The patty was juicy, the bacon was perfectly cooked, and the lettuce and tomatoes were fresh. The special sauce added the perfect touch. The simple house salad with oil and vinegar dressing was also really tasty. If you're in the mood for some comforting food, I highly recommend trying the chicken pot pie - it's absolutely delicious. While it may be on the pricey side, the quality of the food is worth it. I will definitely be going back.

I enjoy visiting this restaurant for lunch whenever I go shopping at Holt's. The atmosphere is bright and airy, and they offer light and healthy menu options. It can get very busy during lunch hours on the weekend due to the small size of the space.

The care and attention to detail was readily apparent in the beautiful presentation of the ribs, atop a mound of polenta and creamed spinach. The portion was generous and the ribs delicious, savory, tender falling off the bone. While the spinach was a bit salty for my liking, the texture and flavor of the polenta complemented the ribs and toasted pine nut garnish very nicely.

Great place for lunch! Every time I come here, I am exceedingly impressed with the food and I never get the same thing twice. I have been waited on by Susan a few times, and she is fantastic! Always “on the ball”. I like the bright cheerful feel with all the windows too.

Great new menu! The food is fresh and seasonal. Note this is a lounging restaurant. You should come accordingly.
