The Pint - Edmonton Canada

The Pint on Whyte is a go-to bar for a fun night out. It sure isn?t fancy, but it is usually open (and before the pandemic it was ALWAYS open, hopefully they return to this in the future). There are extremely aggressive beer specials (think $5 craft draughts), and pretty impressive food specials too. Naturally if you are visiting during prime hours the prices do go up steeply, but that is how a bar makes money. Service is pretty fast and consistent here too, you?re never left waiting for another round. It is also a large place with a massive back room and two outdoor terraces, so if you are coming for a team or group party you won?t have trouble finding places for your guests.

Cute little place, parking was a bit to sort out , food was great and very spacious with lots of seating.

Came out for Paint Night. Wanted to have something to eat prior with a girlfriend so we had a few things to SHARE. Ended up bumping into a couple of other ladies. So of course I asked for a round of drinks (4 drinks) on my tab. When it came to the time for the bill, we made sure to tell the bartender that the food was split between the two of us and the extra drinks I ordered were on my own tab. When he gave us the bill he said “I made it so it was pretty much even for the both of you” .. well no.. it shouldn’t be. The food and our beverages should be even (her and I ordered the same drinks) but the shots I ordered for the 4 of us should be on MY bill. So instead he brings us the bill and now the shots are on my bill, the appetizer(wings) is on my bill and our main (burger w fries) is on her bill. STILL our bill is about $2 different. The food was supposed to be split right in half and I should have had a bill that was at least $20 MORE than my friends. Please ensure your staff know how to split items for customers. We had made him fix our bill once but left it alone after that and just paid what was given to us.

Hamburger was good, wings are great. Good environment for watching a game but not great for two people wanting to go out for a meal and talk. The very loud people shouting as loud as they coukd at the next table were pretty distracting. Only a few people there at the time so they weren't asked to keep it down. I would probably go back but only if there was a hockey game on I wanted to watch.

Amazing vibes. If you ever get a chance to meet Bree or Kate they'll make your trip worth it! Best place to be on friday/sat! Frequent events and promotions so you'll never miss out!!
