Sushiya - Edinburgh

Getting a table in sushiya has been a small target of me for a while. to book one, instead of being in the hope, finally reached the last weekend.

I went to this place without much to expect and was very pleasantly surprised, I ordered a roasted duck yakisoba and not only it was on my table in just.

Have fought for ramen. it is a very small location. we had lucky we showed up early enough to get a table. the rams were not the biggest, but we are.

I love sushi (and Japanese food in general) and it is hard to find a good sushi place in edinburgh, which I can still afford until I found this place. the place was small, but eating was great. the sushi and sashimi were fresh and wonderful, and other foods (I tried grilled aubergine, oyakodon and bbq unagi) were also good. they also had a friendly service, so they can not be fooled by the humble appearance.

Deliberately came looking for this sushi restaurant. much smaller than expected, but they know what they say can't judge a book through its cover! and so ordered the 18 pieces mixed Sashimi plate plus the dragon roll. at the end we have ordered 8 pieces nigiri sashimi, just because the parts were not big enough. now I'm not a huge esser, but compared to your sushi place, the sashimis were a little on the little side. but give this place one away when they are after something fresh sushi, as they do not disappoint me.
