Bidra med feedbackExcellent service and delicious food. We said we were in a hurry and they were really helpful, advising us that a couple of the courses would take half an hour and recommending superb dessert. Really good value for money. Definitely recommend for a pre-theatre meal.
The food was delicious and the service quick but the portions were smaller than we expected. House red was lovely!
Went here for a pre theatre. The place was empty but it’s kind of hidden so wasn’t overly concerned. Looking at the menu it looked great so we planned to have a main and dessert, however we ordered the chicken burger and chips which we lovely but I ordered the pea risotto and it was inedible. The rice wasn’t cooked and the amount of salt actually meant I couldn’t eat it. The staff were very apologetic but in a pre theatre you’re kind of up against the clock so no time to reorder so i shared the Chicken sandwich and made a dash for the door, no time for desert. Showed so much promise such a shame it didn’t live up to the billing. The drink menu is also pretty limited, wine sold mainly but the bottle.
Out of the busy festival drives, MP’s was calm and reinvigorating. Fresh and clean with experienced, well trained staff, the Bistro’s food was excellent quality and perfectly cooked no draft beer on offer but a fair selection of bottled Scottish and world ales, plus a good wine list. However, a bit of a trek to the toilets up and down stairs. MP’s is the restaurant of Parliament House Hotel, a quirky looking spot.
Really nice restaurant with friendly staff food was delicious we will be back
