Forth Floor Brasserie Edinburgh

The evening was lovely, with a fantastic table overlooking St Andrews Square. However, the food was extremely disappointing considering we paid £19 for two courses and a cocktail through Opentable. I hope restaurants don't offer deals they don't want to honor. The chips were soggy and unappetizing, served in a messy pile on a small plate. The cocktail was tasty, but unfortunately, the waitress forgot about it and it arrived with our wine. The restaurant wasn't very busy and I was embarrassed for my guests as I had chosen the restaurant. It may be a while before I consider returning, if at all.

Great food and service, unfortunately they had no rose wine and said it was the time of the year. I would have thought they had ordered for us Christmas and New Year. Apart from that, everything was excellent and I will definitely return!

Healthy tasty food good wine and perfect service enough chat but not intrusive.
