Bidra med feedbackCozy place, nice service and decent food. My Cullen Skink was good. However the portion was really tiny for the price. Also a bit too touristic and you only get a nice table if booking in advance.
We went for dinner and pivot was very kind and nice. They had not table at that moment but told us to wait at bar. And after a couple of minutes we had our table. The food was really good, tasty and in good amount however the service was slow maybe due to the busy time at the restaurant. It was our first time in a scottish restaurant so what I wasn't expecting is that they charge us on the bill with 10% of service. However we reject that and just paid the food. We think that it should was specified on the menu.
We came here for dinner during our visit to Edinburgh. It is rather a bar than a restaurant; for my taste it was a bit too rustic and the music was way too loud. But the staff was friendly and the food tasted very good.
Beautiful atmosphere in this pub in the middle of the old town of Edinburgh, along the famous Royal Mile. We starved and very thirsty from the hike to Arthur's Seat and we really enjoyed a pint of the locally brewed chilled camp. We wanted to try the famous Haggis, and we were not disappointed by the starter: haggi's spring rolls. Afterwards we tried the main thing: the Steak Ale Pie, also beautiful, and the Haggis Tower. This is absolutely fantastic! The whiskey list is impressive and there are options for extensive tasting experience! This place is a must to go in Edinburgh!
Shown without reservation and they sat immediately. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Haggis roles ordered as an introduction to Haggis and immediately knew that our meal would be fantastic. All we ordered was amazing. Absolutely here. Best old fashion around!
