Bidra med feedbackWe dined here before seeing The Lion King with the VIP Ambassador Lounge deal and everything was great. Despite reading some negative reviews, we were pleasantly surprised by the experience. The food, including chicken skewers, soup, and burgers, was satisfactory with no complaints. The standout was the excellent service provided by the efficient and friendly staff. They escorted us to the lounge where we continued to receive friendly service. Overall, it was a fantastic night. Well done.
I came to this restaurant before seeing the Lion King, on a friend's recommendation. Everything was mediocre. It was nothing special, similar to a Wetherspoons but with higher prices. I ordered a burger, which was okay, but the food didn't seem fresh or homemade - it seemed like it was just reheated. The kids ordered pizza, and I was hoping for something delicious, but it was just a basic microwave pizza. To make matters worse, they charged £3.50 for a diet Pepsi, which is absurd. There was also no vinegar available, which was disappointing. I would give this place a lower rating, but the staff were fantastic - very friendly.
Food was average, service was dreadfully slow, had to ask for desert at 210pm,we had been in since 1230pm,had to be seated for show by 230pm
I treated myself to the two-course pre-show meal and it was delightful. I started with the tempura prawns and had the Penang curry as my main dish, both of which were incredibly tasty. The flavors were well-balanced and not overpowering, making it a perfect meal. It was a fantastic way to start my evening and I will definitely be doing it again when I attend my next show at the Playhouse.
We had the two-course lunch which was absolutely yummy, the service was second to none, there was nothing I could fault.
