As soon as I arrived in Edinburgh, I headed straight to Spudulike! I never miss a chance to fill my belly at this place - it's my absolute favorite spot to eat and always my top choice for a meal.

Definitely try the baked potatoes here! Simple, tasty dishes. You can choose from salads on top of crushed potatoes or potatoes filled with various ingredients. I personally preferred the vegetarian options, they were absolutely delicious. The restaurant is located in Waverly Mall, right by the station, so it can get quite crowded with tourists.

I had higher expectations for the potato dish at this restaurant, but unfortunately had to wait over 10 minutes for a new batch to be ready. When I finally received it, the middle was hard. The staff replaced it, but the second batch was not much better and also very dry. I was surprised that there was no offer of butter to moisten it. The cost was quite high, almost £6, and did not even include a salad dressing. I would recommend saving your money and going to a local cafe instead. That's what I'll do next time.
