Chopstix - Edinburgh, City of

Would just like to point out all the staff are amazing in this shop, so well respected, came in with my partner earlier as visiting from Newcastle, had to come back before train home! Amazing food, good service, fast flowing which you always want to see! Hats off to the management who run this shop as they clearly have a good balance with there staff! Will be back!

Handy, quick lunch after a busy morning walking around Edinburgh. A portion of decent food noodles with veg and bbq chicken. Tasted ok and service was fast.

I would say 3 stars is fair enough. I’m kind of disappointed because they are labelled “Chinese foods” and I’m a Chinese. Just following other’s comments: don’t doubt, they are saying exactly true and the rating is reasonable. The tastes are not authentic or Chinese; I have never had these flavours in my 25 year old life in China, Canada and South Korea. And what’s worse, the flavours are not British or Scottish either; I don’t know who invented these…ridiculous. And not worth the price indeed. Quantity is poor; for fast food, the prices are way too higher than KFC McDonalds Burger King pizzahut… go somewhere else if you can still squeeze little time out of your rush hour

Bland tasting food. Rice was so stodgy. Maybe the noodles would have been a better option. Perhaps the cook was having an off day, so will try it again. Only thing in its favour this time, was that it was hot. Pricey for what it is large container was £7+.

I understand that it's city centre and I didn't expect much, and yet the noodles were absolutely atrocious overcooked, oddly spiced. Chicken structure was worse than all you can eat, starchy, doughy, soggy. Fine if you are starving, otherwise look for something else.
