I am from the south; bbq comes fresh and hot from the dug. a star because the waitress worked very nice and hard. if they ever travel in Mississippi i55 on a Friday or Saturday, stop in sardis on the exit 252 on tuck’s bbq! 20 years with good hot food!
Friday, 15 o'clock and they were out of all except curly dogs and huh, so we had two curly dogs and one side of the shiny. the shiny was almost suppe: 75 dressing and 25 kohl. the curly dog was tasty, but creepy, probably not something I would order again.
I came at 5:30 a.m. to order the receipt for my 13-year-old son and I. the only contributors were 2 teenagers. I was immediately informed that they were from the first 2 things I wanted to order; brisket and burnt ends as well as the 2 pages I wanted to order, cole slaw and kartoffelsalat. that is perhaps a good sign, but it was quite early. So, I look at the menu and notice that one of Wednesday's specialties is smoked chicken wings, so I order 20 of them and the cashier says that we don't have chicken wings as if it wasn't on the menu, so I asked if it was the special today? she went back, came back and said it was special, but we have to run out because I'm not back? So I order only two of the other Wednesday special . a smoked chicken, speck and Swiss sandwich 10 w no side . one for me and one for my son. one with carolina style w wobble and one with sweet bbq. drive directly to home with them. we live less than 5 minutes away. what a total disappointment. the amount of each ingredient except the speck was a standard 2 disc shocking. the amount of chopped chicken didn't even come anywhere near the cover of the lower bungalow. I laughed out of the shock. there were so little blurred that it was not present at all and the whole sandwich was dry like a bone on all, which means dry huh and almost no soak and only an extremely small amount of wobbles on my. I had also ordered 2 other sides, one was a premium side, the smoked Mac cheese 3.50, which was not terrible, but also not good, it was very nice the bill ended at 30 for 2 sandwiches and 2 sides, and I can't think that at the end of a meal I feel more torn off in a last memory. if an adult had worked there, I would have opened the sandwiches again and asked for a refund recently, but I honestly did not feel comfortable confronting two teenage girls to express my frustration and disappointment with the order and to ask for a refund. photo: open sandwich after 1 bit
It is a mix of good and not so good. the taste of the pulled pork is really good, but it was not warmer than room temperature when served. the bark breeze was good, but the smoked chicken was dry and hard. the burgers had good taste. After she picked up the dice of the dice that were not ordered, either the two times she asked what we wanted. we would be back for the pulled pigs, mac and cheese and green beans.
Wow. This place has good bbq! Not to mention great sides. I smoke my own meat and make my own pulled pork so I'm very picky. Their pulled pork was just okay but my husband really enjoyed. I had the burnt end sandwich and it was a 5 out of 5. I just did not expect it to come saucy but very good. We called at 11:30 AM on a Saturday and they were already sold out of brisket. We arrived about 12 noon and had to wait a good 15 minutes just to order. This place is busy! And for good reason. My favorite part might be the smoked barbecue beans and spicy coleslaw. Will be back a lot!
