Raku - Edina

We haven’t been for awhile, but gave it another try. The lady serving us was very friendly and the prices were reasonable, but everything else was below average. The glasses were dirty and/or spotty, the food was ok, but could be fresher, and the wasabi used was of a very low quality (clumpy and neon green). Hopefully they can turn it around.

Meh. If you want sushi in the twin cities, there are SO MANY better places. The rolls were good (put enough sodium laden sauce on anything and it tastes good) but the market price otoro sashimi was seriously disappointing barely worth $5, not the $15 MP. The service was also painfully slow considering there were only two other tables at the time. Nothing was BAD per se, but I expected better given the previous reviews and general quality of food in this area.

We were excited to check out Raku, however, the older lady at the front stared us up and down without even greeting us and did not make us feel welcomed at all. Also, when we left she was just talking to her friend on the phone. If you’re going to do that, you might as well go to the back or something. It makes your restaurant look lazy and that you don’t care about your job!
