Bidra med feedbackI had to wait for the coffee. the personal was underqualified and rude. overall very bad experience.
Vince the chef and his coworkers are always friendly and the service is excellent. the coffee is roasted before place and fantastic.
Atmosphere? A crowded little establishment one level up from a busy eastern suburbs railway station and one level below a busy commercial-residential multi-storey building. The place is like an ultra-busy ants ' nest Monday to Saturday and not much slower on a Sunday after 11am. My...wife and I chanced an early breakfast before her work day at the pharmacy just across the shopping arcade from Baristas. Note here that the indicated opening times are pure fiction. We sat down for breakfast at 8:25a.m Sunday ... 95 minutes before the advertised opening time and we were the fifth occupied table. At least two people at separate tables had already completed large plates of food and coffees when we arrived. Baristas features menus high on two walls above the kitchen-cash register counter. Pastries, cakes, loaves, main breakfasts, etc. all available. My wife had the big breakfast: mushrooms, eggs, sausage, bacon, grilled tomato and garnish followed by a soy latte. Also featured were two large slices of thick cut toast. Her meal was full of flavour but she was mildly disappointed by excess oil on her food and plate from the grilled food. I chose the salmon, poached eggs, avocado, grilled tomato and a salad/garnish accompanied by four half-slices of Turkish bread and two mugs of skim flat white served extra hot. My food was excellent. Quality fresh ingredients well laid out and attractively presented. My coffee was on a par with some of the best I 've had anywhere. For its location in a mad zone of movement and shopping next to a seafood shop, a butcher, a pharmacy and newsagency, just along from a large supermarket and a large fruit and vege outlet above a busy railway station, it 's really quite good. (And, unlike most cafes which have 1-3 newspapers for diners to read, Baristas had SEVEN newspapers ... super attention to customer preference and way above the cafe norm.
You're not sorry you stopped here for a coffee, fresh juice, wrap, toastie or gourmet sandwich. sitting in the indoor or outdoor area, friendly staff and fast service. delux!
This lively little caffe in the arkade for a afternoon coffee snack. coffee was good, service very polite and super fast. a good selection of food also on the display. it is on the upper (coles) level with the train station below and the bus. table chairs in the mall or press them within the stack of deliveries. so it is the place for a fast dune in or take between bus / train not as good as it is likely to be more expensive neighbor (café mia, 60m away) for people watching or seeing. footnote: there is a 50-TV at the wall in me went by, just before the start of the melbourne cup (horse race) and they could have rammed 80 people there (usually customers, lol!)
