Riverside Fish Chips - Eden

Large flakes of fish covered with a crispy batter and well cooked chips, all that you can ask for in a fish chip shop. Special mention too for the very young serving staff who did an excellent job.

We all really enjoyed our suppers. Fish and chips were lovely. As were the sausage and chips and pie and chips. I can personally recommend.

Well where to start i reviewed a couple months ago The food then was spot on today I went for the lunch fish special £6.10 with chips and either peas gravy or curry sauce It was cooked to order so was nice and fresh so on the food side I would have again The problem I have is one of the servers while I was waiting not only took chips from a customer dinner but ate them I watched her do it Not only is that horrendous fingers touching mouth etc she continued serving Fortunately the other lady served me If you going to eat do it out of site from other customers like at home Food strong 4 /5 Staff hygiene sorry can’t score

We were charged different prices than what was advertised and received incorrect food. The owner was rude when we brought it up, and the fish bites were tough and impossible to eat. Complete waste of money. Will not be returning.

Heard various reviews of this chippy ranging from good to bad Well today I tried it at lunch time I had jumbo sausage chips and beans I have to say a solid 8/10 Normal chippy sausage Chips were nice and hot and very tasty Beans hot So for that meal a good start and will be back to try the fish Service quite slow Takes card and cash
