Smith's - Eatonton

Their Wednesday special, was 'loaded potato soup . I 'm hoping they have it often this winter, as it was the best. I 'm usually not crazy about potato soup, but theirs was delicious. 12 Mar, 2010 Great addition to Eatonton. Hannah 's has a varied menu, with a caribbean/southern theme so there is something for everyone. The Sunday brunch is excellent. The atmosphere is inviting and the staff is friendly. A wonderful addition to downtown Eatonton.

Terrible service! the waitress went from us without looking at us and we had to ask for fillings on drinks. another waitress had her baby on the hip. eating was not worth the money. was not satisfied at all!

E for effort. Eatonton is terribly short on eating options. I had Sunday 'Brunch ' there. It was ok. Plusses include the ambience and friendliness. Negatives include the food : Seemed like reheated microwave sausage, syrupy grits, been reheated over and over) , only one piece of toast, had to ask for butter, etc. On a scale of 5 I 'd give them a 3. Many no-name country diners would be better but around Eatonton there is little competition. On the plus side...this seems to be run by young Main Street entreprenuers and for that reason I give them my support. If it weren't for Urbanspoon I wouldn't have discovered this gem! It's only been open for a year and a half but let's hope it's open a very long time. I had the grilled shrimp basket with pan seared corn. It was delectable and out of this world. It was not at all like grilled shrimp baskets at other restaurants. It had six jumbo and was cooked to perfection. I ordered to go but will definitely be dining in soon.
