Bidra med feedbackA smoky and delicious cultural barbecue spot tucked away in the back alleys of Sydney. A must-visit for any food lover. The service was incredible and the food was top-notch. I will definitely be returning.
Just great food service price all of it fantastic great with everything dont miss this place thankyou.
We arrived early on a Saturday evening, no booking but luckily got a table. Ordered Set Menu B (meat platter pictured) for 3 people, kimchi pancake, 1/2 fried boneless chicken and Tteokbokki. For four and a half adults that was more than enough. Meat quality was excellent and the fried chicken was amazing considering the plethora of chicken places in Eastwood this one ranks right up there. As it got busier the service wasn't quite as quick but seriously, who goes to a Korean BBQ and comes out not smelling of smoke? Didn't think it was possible until now the grill just needs constant replacing. Tteokbokki aside (a little too chewy) everything about it was superb and staff were super friendly. Definitely a place to return.
Family of 4 decided to come here as my daughter wanted some “meat”. Ordered the combination beef, half original fried chicken on the bone and a stir fried spicy pork bulgogi. The spicy pork bulgogi had just enough spice to not be smothered by the “red chili paste” as other Korean restaurants do. Fried chicken was not oily and fried to perfection. You can choose several flavors but enjoy the original. The combination of beef was sufficient for 4 people and was lovely and tender when cooked. The sides could have a bit more variety and interesting as there is only so much pickled onion one can eat. Overall good service with good food, will definitely come back.
We visited this restaurant on a Sunday evening with a reservation for 9 people. It appeared to be a very popular spot as it was bustling with energy. The highlight of the restaurant was the visual theater of the fire pit at each table. There was also a clear glass dome in the corner where you could see the fire being stoked for the coals. The quality of the meats for the barbecue was excellent, with a variety of beef, pork, and prawns available. The 'extras' were plentiful and could be reordered at no extra cost. The seafood omelette was particularly tasty. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the toilets were clean. One suggestion would be to add liquid soap to the open sink outside the toilet area, so diners can wash their hands without having to queue for the sink inside. It's worth noting that the photos online may be outdated; the restaurant is located on the same Rowe St but appears larger and newer, with a small parking area in front.
