Trumpets On The Bay - EASTPORT

We usually have a great meal there. This time was good, not great. We love their soups but the potatoe leek was far too salty. Surely someone in the kitchen would have tasted it. Also, the filet wasn't seasoned with anything so it was just good, not great. It had no real taste. Our friend who joined us had the rice pudding and it was very bland. A little cinnamon wouldn't hurt and maybe some golden raisens? We go there often so we'll chalk this up as an anomoly .

Been meaning to try this restaurant for years and we finally made our way there. We were pleasantly surprised as we didn't know what to expect. The restaurant was more upscale than we imagined and the food was excellent. The only issue we had was our entree was brought out while we were still having our appetizers. Wasn't pleased with that, but will definitely give it another try. Parking: they have a fairly good sized lot for parking. Kid-friendliness: I would say this place is not really suitable for younger children.

Always a wonderful meal here. Dee always makes you feel special and always tries to accommodate reservations. She makes you feel special. The food is always great and the view spectacular! We always come here when we are out east.

We 've been going there for about 20 years, and always had a great meal. Don 't know what happened, but the food was very disappointing this time. Crab cakes were 90% bread crumbs. They used to be so much better. Chef 's whole response to our question about them was That 's how I make them.
