Bocephus Sandwich Shop - EASTPORT

Eating at the unassuming Bocephus Sandwich Shop made our visit to Eastport, Maine even more special. We enjoyed our sandwiches sitting outside on the picnic tables with a water view. Fresh seafood and an inventive Signature Sandwiches section gave us some interesting choices. The Bahn Mi, a marinated pork sandwich, was absolutely delicious. There is also a good selection of wine and beer. This will be a regular stop whenever we are in the area. Please be sure to check the opening and closing dates for Bocephus on Facebook. Delicious! Perhaps the best lobster roll I’ve every had. The Ban Mhi was excellent as well. There was only one lady working and she was crushing it. Friendly service, and a beautiful place to sit on a nice day.

The owner and host Greg Noyes was a warm host, outstanding cook, and had a wealth of knowledge about Maine and southern Canada. Each morning we were greeted with fresh coffee, gourmet breakfasts, and lively conversation about the history and culture of the area. He made excellent suggestions about day trips and restaurants. His home was exquisitely furnished in Victorian period antiques. The B B could not have been better, nor could the host! Bring your passports!

Best lobster roll I've had on this trip!! Such a great spin on the traditional lobster roll, it really took the flavor to the next level. The owners were extremely friendly and accommodating. Love getting lucky with a find like this where they do an amazing job and really care about what they are doing. Lots of love went into these dishes. Definitely recommend!!

Absolutely the best lobster roll ever. Fresh lobster. Super delicious. Perfect touch of mayo and lemon. The sweet delicate flavor of the lobster meat comes through in a big way. Very generous portion of meat too. Paired so well with the Kolsch the owner recommended. Well done Bosephus, I will be back!
