Bidra med feedbackYum! I just tried a Scottish Shepherd's Lamb Pasty that I bought from Eveleigh Markets this morning and it is delicious. I enjoy pies, but not ones with soggy cardboard pastry. These puff pastry parcels with traditional pie fillings are perfect. The Chicken Fricassee also looked great and my son devoured it quickly, saying it tasted amazing. I got a deal of 4 for $20, so I am excited to heat up the Thai Chicken next. If you are at the markets, make sure not to miss these tasty treats that heat up crispy and delicious!
Inspired by traditional Italian doughnuts, bombolini, Shepherd’s Artisan Bakehouse has created their own version called brioche bombs. These fluffy round treats are baked instead of fried and come in two varieties: one dusted with icing sugar and one with cinnamon sugar, depending on the filling. A standout option is the Nutella and Salted Pretzel Brioche Bomb ($4), which puts a salty pretzel twist on the classic nutella-filled bombolini. Another delicious choice is the Ginger-Spiced Apple Brioche Bomb ($4), filled with stewed apple and a hint of ginger, then topped with...
I have only tried the delicious bread and amazing croissants from their stand at the Carriageworks Farmers Markets, but I am so impressed that I had to write a review on the Zomato app. After checking out their Facebook page, it is clear that they bake with love and authenticity. Their baked goods are so tasty that I am already searching for other farmers markets where they are sold.
Glad there is a addition to the community that can provide some quality bread. Bread is life! I've not had sourdough like this before. I am one happy chappy!
When I was a kid, you got white bread, sliced or unsliced, if you were being fancy you could get thick and thin. So the world of gourmet bread today is amazing! So many different techniques, so many different flavour combinations. Sheoherd's bakehouse is a farmer's market favorite they have stalls at Orange Grove and also at Eveleigh and no doubt many other places as well. They do nice dense sourdoughs and great pasties perfect for a breakfast snack.
