Vista Cafe At The View - Eastbourne

Really disappointing. We have a table for 7 for the 93. My father's birthday booked and wanted it to be a special occasion. We had to wait for every service. I have two menus between us. The food was warm when it arrived. Had to go to the counter to order the next course as there was minimal waiter service. A drink never arrived. It was clear that the servers were rushed from their feet, but the overall experience was sooo disappointing.

We ate here twice during our stay. The first night was nice, almost all employees were great, just let yourself be a female employee who decided to chat with another couple for a few 15 minutes, although we tried to get their attention several times for the bill. In the end, my husband went to the bar. Such a shame. Luckily, she didn't appear on the second night. The night staff brilliant, but my choice of the Gammon was wrong. Extremely salty

The food was really delicious and well presented. I recommend the steak that was delicious. The staff was attentive and helpful and thoughtful without being intrusive. There was a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, with excellent background music that was quiet enough to not spoil the conversation. When it got dark outside, the change of lighting changed the ambience I really liked. I would highly recommend the Vista Bar Cafe at The View Hotel.

Very attentive waiter by the name of Ronnie always very polite n courteous.bar food was great.all staff at the view are lovely,pleasant atmosphere which is why we always come back,and my dad loves it!!
