Pub-570 - East Stroudsburg

We had ordered Ribeya Sandwich and Cocunut Shrimp, which by far the best non-veg friends had! Since I am a vegetarian, I went with Parmesan and Sweet Potato Fries, which were good. Definitely go here for cheap alcohol and non-veg*.

After a lovely day visiting Bushkill falls we were famished. With all our cell phones with no service we had to chance it and pick something off of the road as we were driving. After passing a few places we found Pub 576. They had wifi and we were able to connect from the parking lot. The menu seemed affordable and the stock photos were appealing. We decided to chance it. Greeted with a tired smile the hostess escorted past a row of video games is to our seats in a huge dining room with dozens of tables surrounding the bar. Families filled the tables on this beautiful Labor Day. Movie memorabilia and neon bar signs cluttered the walls. Oldies swooned from the speakers above. The room was loud yet not too intrusive to disrupt our own dinner conversations. Our waitress, Debbie was lively and attentive despite working on the holiday in a room full of families. She joked and laughed with us and made us feel welcome. The Monday night steak special was delicious and a steal at 2 meals for 25 bucks. Chicken Parm crispy outside and moist inside. No complaints from the picky ones at the table so thumbs up on that. All in all I would definitely revisit when in the area and recommend to anyone traveling along 209.

So where to start? In the area visiting and swung in here on a Monday night for drinks during happy hour and had a great time. The locals are friendly and the staff was perfect. Tonight I come in with the same company that was with me on Monday for drinks. The other half of my party was rejected drink service because her drivers license has a small bend and the card reader wouldn 't read her license. Mind you this was not the process we encountered two nights ago and the bartender whom served us Monday was present tonight. The other bartender was snooty and said stated this is our policy . If it 's going to be your policy then you need to enforce it every day of the week with every patron. We were told that if she could produce a second form of government issued picture ID then they would serve her. Tell me...who outside of the military population and frequent international travelers carry a second form of government issued picture ID? Keep in mind, a state will not issue an ID if they 've already issued a drivers license. A shame they lost our business. For the record the other half of my party is mid-30 's. So...if you plan to visit and you look to be under 30...make sure you carry two, maybe three forms, of government issued picture ID.

This establishment over served my husband. A father of 5 child. 3 being minors. They over served him and let him go drive himself home. He died on his birthday. This is the second time they did this that i know about personally. Fortunately the first one lived but is paralyzed. I have witnesses .that say this is a regular occurance. Support them and you are supporting murders. Stay away.

Well we've been here in town since Friday and tried a handful plus of places.. For some reason I keep ending up back here. Food I've had has been great.. Beers are cold and taste fresh. Service has been spot on. I'd have to say the 570 overall has been my favorite in the Poconos.
