Pizzaro's - East Stroudsburg

I placed a pick-up order for a veggie roll on August 16, 2024. I had eaten about a third of it when I discovered a foreign object in my mouth. I pulled out a long strip of plastic mixed in with the ricotta cheese. Since it was after closing time, I called the restaurant first thing the next day. I asked to speak with the owner, but was told he wasn't available. I then requested to speak to a manager, but again, no one was there. The staff member I spoke to seemed completely unconcerned when I explained the issue. I asked her to take my name and number so someone could get back to me, and she claimed she would, but I never received a call back. It's now been a week. I tried calling two more times, but got the same response. Unsurprisingly, I didn't finish my meal. I took photos and still have the piece of plastic and the uneaten portion stored in my fridge. I have been a customer for 23 years, and I’ve noticed a significant decline in quality over the past few years. This incident is not just poor quality; it reflects a lack of care and responsibility from the ownership and management. They didn’t even bother to call me back, and the attitude of the staff member who took my call was the same. I could have choked on that plastic, and if a child had been eating it, the consequences could have been much worse. I paid $12 for that terrible experience, and I would like a refund!

They were overwhelmed with orders, but they did an excellent job. The pizza was delicious, and the sandwiches were fantastic!

Pizzaro's is our favorite pizza spot! The food is fantastic and the service is exceptional! They make an effort to know their regular customers and always treat us wonderfully. In my opinion, this is the best pizza place around, and I always feel let down if I try another. We keep returning and will continue to do so!

The pizza is super good, the quality is consistent, and I like the choices of their to-go slices. Great New York Style pizzas, but anything on the menu is great, as they do it all well. It is a hidden gem in this region.

Pizzaro’s is the best pizza and Italian in East Stroudsburg. We order from here all the time, from pasta dishes to subs to pizza they knock it out of the park every time.
