Bidra med feedbackThis is the best restaurant in town. The food is top-notch and the staff is excellent. We even came in the evening just for filter coffee, Idli, and Vada to unwind. It feels like we're back in South India. The special chicken biryani is especially delicious, and every single dish is absolutely delicious.
I absolutely love this place! If you're looking for delicious and authentic Indian food, this is the spot to check out. It may not be the fanciest place, but don't let that deter you - the service and food are top-notch here. I highly recommend giving it a try!
Jaya is without a doubt the best Indian restaurant in Providence/East Providence. They specialize in South Indian cuisine, which sets them apart from other Indian restaurants in the area. They also offer some unique Nordic Indian dishes that are worth trying. For first-time visitors, I recommend sampling their South Indian dishes as they are truly out of this world. Some of my favorites include the Chicken Ghee Roast, special Hyderabadi chicken biryani, Gongura chicken, kothu parota, and chicken 65. The dosas are delicious, and the veechu parota bread pairs perfectly with their curries. I really hope that Jaya remains in business because I am a huge fan of Indian food and have yet to find another restaurant nearby that rivals the taste and quality of Jaya.
This is the best South Indian Tamil restaurant in the USA. The Vada are actually some of the best I ever had, including India. The Cutta Paratha is great and the engraving is exceptional. The food is delicious. The staff is typical of Tamil culture and care. Prices are fair for the quality of food. The restaurant is a little small, so for a big party you might want to call. It is easily accessible to older people and physically challenged. FIVE STARS is not enough for this restaurant. Jaya's kitchen is really an authentic South Indian experience. Small place and overall the food is good and tasty. Mutton salna probably the bad among all. Too much coconut and salty. Rest everything were actually good. Especially the parota was soft and fresh. Just don’t order the mutton salna. Talapakati goat Briyani was also very god. Overall we liked and good place to take out and very casual. also don’t forget to try the Nannari sarbath and it was amazing.
