Bidra med feedbackBest breakfast place in town! Good family owned restaurant with fair prices.
Right off I 94. We stopped while on the go. My food was so, so. Omlet was dry overcooked, potatoes were also very dry. Wife's food was good. Only 1 other customer, hmmmmm... One drawback for travelers, they don't take credit or debit cards; cash only. Prices were fair. It wasn't great nor was it bad, just so, so.
The food was excellent and the waitress was very polite. My issues came from who I assumed was the owner/manager of the restaurant. He was seated on a booth the entire time and it very much felt like big brother was watching us. He wouldn't let us split a dish between us, so we ordered a smaller dish in addition to still be able to split the original dish. It just made for an uncomfortable vibe because I could tell when he was focused on listening to us, especially since we were the only party in the restaurant. It is currently cash only and I'm not sure when or if that policy will change.
I had the best bacon cheeseburger that i have possibly, EVER had. Delicious. Real meat. Made into a not so perfectly round patty. Fresh vegetables that they cut themselves. Bacon cooked to perfection along with my burger so it was crispy and there was a lot of it. Absolute utopic eating experience. Who knew i could feel this way about a cheese burger? Thank you to the folks at Blue Moon diner in albion, MI.
We have our monthly retirees get together there every month. Service can be a little hectic but that can be expected because there's about 12 to 16 of us at the table. Food is fantastic.
