Nancy's Pizza Camp Creek - East Point

UPDATE: An hour later, after speaking to an apologetic young lady who placed me on a short hold, the person who originally answered my call rectified the situation. I still recommend ordering directly through them rather than using a delivery service.

Our pizzas were excellent! Nae, your service was great. Fire whoever is in charge of cleaning the restrooms. Like?today. I know y?all are busy but naw, no excuse for that nastiness from any place serving food. I would have given 3 stars but Nae and the pizza saved y?all a star. Great portions for the price.

We arrived around 7pm. Waited 5 minutes to be greeted. Another 10 minutes to be seated due to half the dining room having dirty tables that needed to be cleaned and reset. Once we arrived to the table it was another 5-7 minutes before the waitress greeted us. She was in street clothes. No Nancy?s shirt like a few of the others. We were in front of 2 tables that housed employee kids (possibly the server kids as she was speaking at them in a personal manner. One of the younggirls at the table was up and down trying to help them clean the party room area. The other 2 young boys were back and forth around the restaurant and the kitchen. , we ordered 2 pizzas, 1 thin 1 deep. Server didn?t write anything down.Another table of 3 gentlemen sat down after us. Ordered 3 pizzas. Ate and left by the time we finally received our pizzas. The server only came to communicate 1 time about the day 3 minutes before the pizza was ready. She brings out thedeep, which we ordered a medium with 6 slices received 4 slices which is a small. Not the thin but never communicates whats going on with the thin. We thought she went to get it when she walked away but after 5 minutes of waiting for ourdaughter?s pizza, we start trying to get her attention as she was now behind the bar making drinks for the guest at the bar. Another team member walked past and noticed we needed help. She went over and asked our server to come to usbecause we were missing a pizza, she told that team member it needed to be remade and took another 5 minutes to come over as she went to the kitchen to wait for the pizza. She did apologize for the delay at that time but the lack of serviceand communication throughout the 2 hour experience was poor. We asked for some compensation, the manager decided $2 some change was sufficient for poor service. This restaurant serves the best Chicago-style pizza in the area. Our server was exceptional and always one step ahead, anticipating our needs.

We visited this restaurant to celebrate a college graduation, but unfortunately, we likely won't be returning. We've heard that our review won't make a difference anyway, as they don't use the Open Table service.
