Bidra med feedbackStars should be zero but that is not an option. Booked a table for 12 and when we arrived only 9 chairs. 2 drink menus no food menus. One of our party went to get menus was given 2 for the whole table. Ordered drinks we received 1. No water. Waitress advised bottle white wine not avail picked another. Then waitress came back and said red wine not available picked another. Still no other drinks or water. Ordered 3 entrees asking for enough serves to cater for everyone at table. Still no drinks. One of our party for the upteenth time requested where drinks were as it had been 40 minutes since we had ordered them. Still no water. Waitress came back and advised second bottle wine not available. One of our party then got up from the table and went to the bar to sort out drinks and see what wine they did have. Still no other drinks or water. Entrees came out not enough for one piece each and one lot did not come at all. Complained again. Waitress came with water but only for 7 people. Three beers and two cocktails came when only one cocktail ordered. Assume some other table missed out on their cocktail. By now we had been there for about an hour and a half and only just received some of the drinks and some of the entrees. At one stage told we couldn’t have wine because they had no glasses even though you could see them hanging in the bar. Again one of our party left the table to ask to speak with whoever was in charge as this was just not good enough. We were still waiting for a bottle of white. Final straw was when they bought out one main course when we still hadn’t received the third entree. We had been there for 2 hours. We then decided to leave. It was a shame as we had tried to get into this restaurant numerous times before as we had heard the food was good but it was always booked out. We left and went upstairs to Point Bar and Grill and told them of our experience downstairs. They were very accommodating and within 10 minutes had our first round of drinks. Food and service were first class
I joined trip advisor just so I could review this restaurant. That was the worst service I have received in Perth after living here for 16 years. For my birthday we booked a table of 10 for Dim Sum, I was so looking forward to it. Sadly (despite the food being very good) the day was ruined. Where do we start. We had the table for an hour and a half. Not one waiter came to our table for the first 40 minutes, despite the two tables next to us receiving the cart 4 times. We kept asking the staff and were ignored. It got to the point that a lady on the table next to us insisted that the waiter come and serve us. It took an hour to receive water for the table, despite asking multiple times, to the point that my young daughters were getting upset and certainly didn’t want to eat by that stage. As we walked out, we could see that some tables were certainly receiving what looked like some nice dishes, sadly not us though. Avoid..
The food was excellent and the service was extremely welcoming. We came here for a birthday celebration and everything was fantastic. Ignore the negative reviews you may have seen. We are familiar with quality Chinese cuisine, and this restaurant definitely exceeded our expectations. We tried the Peking duck and it was delicious.
Disorganised, sold out of wine , would not let me sit at the window or outside, I must ask my manager was the reply to every question, the menu was a pathetic cheap piece of paper hardly legible, and severly overpriced, I was shunned to a table out of view, and left waiting for 20 mins. I suppose I didn 't look rich enough? The staff showed no flexibility with the menu, and the so-called manager didn 't lower himself to speak with me. End result, I left quietly and asked the girl staff to inform the manager that I was cancelling until another day.....perhaps?
The restaurant has a nice atmosphere with a beautiful view of the river, but unfortunately, that is the only positive thing to say. The service was terrible, with the staff being inattentive and slow to respond to our requests. Even though some younger servers were polite, overall, the service was appalling. We waited an hour for a dish that never arrived and eventually had to cancel it. The dim sum lunch, which was supposed to be upscale, was a disappointment as plates were not changed out, and the staff didn't check on us. The management and staff appeared disorganized, and overall, the experience was far from the level of service one would expect at a high-end restaurant. The restaurant needs a serious overhaul in both management and staff training if they want to survive in the business. Our group of eight diners left feeling disappointed and are not eager to return anytime soon.
