Sonic Drive-in - East Peoria

The whole idea is to sit in your car. Car hop to come out. They have a 2x3 note that says Apple pay isn't working. I don't have Apple pay. It doesn't take any card. Ten minutes later I walked to the employee entrance. Hard to get someone . They hadn't even pulled my ticket. Just waiting on cars that went through drive through.

Not so good. Ordered a simple two meal supper and waited 20 min. Screen said someone was on their way with our order and 20 min later…. We left. Kids were going in and out that didn’t appear to work there or they weren’t in a hurry to work. Hard to tell. Not hardly any customers either. Looks like possibly the cat was away ….

We had Supersonic double cheeseburgers , one small order of fries and one small order of tots. The burgers were big and delicious, the fries and tots were also quite good but very small portions for cost. None the less we will continue to enjoy Sonic drive-in.

They did away with 2 of my favorite things. I only go there for a cherry coke now.

My husband and I didn't have a hole lot of money after paying bills this week but we had a $20 gift card so we chose to use it at Sonic in Pekin. We've been here before and never had any problems. Aterter ordering at the drive thru we waited awhile to get up to the window, while there the young lady opened the window and gave us our oder the closed the window,we were missing a large drink. She opened the window and told us it wasn't on the receipt and when I showed her it was she rolled her eyes shut the window to go get the soda. She comes back with it with a horrible attitude hands it over and shuts the window again. We get home and the order is all wrong! Plain tiny cheeseburgers! We were not happy!
