Avanti's - East Peoria

I haven't been to Avanti for almost a decade. I was glad to know that it was still there and still remembered as good as my nostalgia! The staff was incredibly friendly and focused on keeping cartridges and any others safe with regard to Kovid supplies. The food was delicious and generously portioned for the price, and I bought two types of bread to take home with me, it's just so delicious.

Our family has several meetings for special birthdays and family excursions from over 20 guests. We are planning our Christmas party with the family this year. Friendly, friendly staff, always attentive and therefore we always come back. We have two family members in a wheelchair, and the Avantis Restaurant in East Peoria is wheelchair accessible, and chair fits nicely under table at the end. Beautiful menu also with a variety of elements. Our popular appetizers are the mozzarella sticks and mushrooms. Your garden salads are beautiful and crisp. Our favorite entries are the homemade Lasagna, Tortellini with meat sauce, and the baked cot with Italian vegetables. If you only want a cold sandwich, you cannot beat Avanti's Famous Gondola (lean ham/salami/American cheese/ and crisp salad). Our popular hot sandwich is the roasted ham cheese or my favorite of roasted turkey Swiss cheese. My favorite appetizer is her fried mushrooms with Ranch Dressing. So, Yummy! Many menu options, and one of our favorite Italian restaurant with our family to eat. Love her bread... always fresh and tasty. I have over 30 years experience with this beautiful restaurant and I am never dissatisfied with the food or service. We had our Christmas party on the 15th. December 2018, and this year we went with Avantis Buffet. Oh my stars it was fantastic!!!! I think we have a winner where we have future family Christmas meetings.... everything was perfect, and our little Elf waitress has done a wonderful job. The food consisted of spaghetti with meat or Alfredo sauce, the best I have ever tasted, salad, Italian vegetables, gondola sandwiches and their famous bread on the tables. We all had a good time, and with our very big family it was nice not to eat!

One of the only restaurants that offer din-in these days. I felt safe and got a very nice meal to enjoy!! I always want to go back.

Good food Always have to stop and eat when I in Illinois hot ham n cheese gondola pizza bread mmmmmmmmm. Mmmmmmm.

Our waitress Kay was super sweet and very nice. She made our visit awesome! You rock Kay!!!
