Panda - East Northport

Best Chinese food in the area! I recently moved from NYC to Long Island and was looking for a restaurant. Panda is one of the best Chinese restaurants in which I was, even compared to some in NYC. Very recommended to try it!

One of the best hidden gems in all Long Island for real Chinese cuisine. A must. Old school authentic Chinese food. Wait staff is great, ask for Paul, he will take care of you! Knödel are amazing. They always use fresh ingredients. If they have lobsters, it is always fresh and AMAZING. Don't be fooled by the location, really a hidden Jem.

The best restaurant in the area for Chinese cuisine! Nice and quick service, I've been on my way for years and they never messed up an order. All I've tried is delicious, although I don't have a very diverse palate. I'm afraid the business here goes down, as the person at the reception is always so surprised to see someone who's not here to get something for floods. Prices are so good, there is no reason to go here and support the business. Definitely a hidden gem.

Panda has been operating under the same ownership for at least 25 years (as I know it). Inside they didn't do any upgrade at all. I do not think they have changed a ceiling tile in 25 years; but recently I noticed that they have replaced the carpet, but you can't really say it. If they do, it's the same color. The food is excellent. Your kitchen is clean, I saw her. You really have, really great Egg Foo Young (order extra Gravy on the page). And my husband says you can always say a good Chinese restaurant with their pork rice (which is also great). I trust a restaurant that has been operated in the same neighborhood under the same owners for so long. Most of these restaurants are constantly changing property. You can bring your own wine (they have no alcohol license) and they do not charge a cork fee. The seat is always empty. Interior is original and old, but who cares? The food is really good. The operators are friendly. Try it. The best Chinese food we ever had in Suffolk.

I recently went into the Panda restaurant for a quick Chinese take out order. I was greeted by a young courteous Man. The wait was not long at all, and the food was hot and delicious, ready for me to enjoy. It was definitely better than a lot of Chinese food takeout or sit down restaurants I have ever had, the best in Northport for sure. I ate the food in full enjoyment and will definitely be back for more!! Thank you.
