Cuì Yuán - East Mesa

We stopped in yesterday on the spur of the moment. I'm not real familiar with Korean food, but I really enjoyed our meal! We ordered the Chok kalbi and Mushroom soon tofu soup. The food came out very quickly and with rice, kimchi and other small sides. The waitress was friendly and very helpful. It was a casual atmosphere, not very busy on a Wed evening. I would definitely stop in again!

Where else can you find a good tasting Korean dishes for the right price, quick and friendly service. Hodori Restaurant is the best So far. Glad to see them and dine again here soon.

From the moment I entered, I was met with an indifferent and dismissive attitude from the staff. The waitstaff seemed disinterested and lacked the basic courtesy that one would expect in a restaurant setting. Requests for additional condiments or water refills were met with eye rolls and sighs, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere that dampened my dining experience.The food is undeniably tasty and authentic, providing a glimpse into the wonderful world of Korean gastronomy. However, for those who value excellent customer service and a welcoming atmosphere, I would advise seeking alternative Korean dining options in the area.

Authentic Korean food. This is a place family friends frequent.I enjoy the yukgaejang (beef noodle soup) and alternate between that and the soondooboo (tofu soup). The kalbi, seafood pancake, is also good too. Love the side dishes it comes with. All yummy.

Summary: You could count on Hodori with consistency I've dined here many times throughout the years every once in a while. Every time I get food here, it's just what I remembered and the quality and price point really hasn't changed much (or changed within reasonable means). They have a good menu selection and the menu hasn't changed much over the years as well. I value the consistency here and it is truly satisfying when you're craving something specific, you know they'll have it and it will taste like the last time.
