Votadini Cafe - East Lothian

Absolutely fantastic caffe. the personal was so welcoming, the tee and the morning roll were great. large menu and dog friendly. highly recommended.

Arrived at East Linton at 16.05 this aftrn, after a long drive, desperate for coffee cake. Came across this wee cafe delighted to see that still opened more importantly that they allowed dogs to come in, exactly what we needed !! Service was delightful, speedy the coffee cakes were gorgeous. Don't drive past this wee gem when you are next in East Linton or indeed on the A1 within the area.

Lovely little coffee shop set in the village of East Linton. Very comfortable. Friendly staff (and locals), nice coffee and snacks, and a delightful wood stove in the corner that somehow made the hot chocolate taste even better!

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and were pleasantly surprised. As we walked in, we saw a cozy fire burning and four older ladies with a dog sitting at a table. They were locals from the village of East Linton and recommended that we try the pies, which they claimed were the best in town. The Votadini restaurant truly has everything you could ask for and exudes a friendly atmosphere. The menu was diverse and the staff were welcoming, making us feel like we were visiting a friend rather than just a cafe. I suggest ordering from the menu and striking up a conversation with the locals - you'll definitely learn something new. The toilets were also impressive, clean and spacious. The portions were generous and well worth the money, with no processed ingredients in sight. There were plenty of vegetarian options available as well. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant.
