Bidra med feedbackThe restaurant was as described in previous reviews from what I can recall. It appears to be rarely open, and when I did manage to find it open once, it was quite empty. This may have been acceptable over a year ago, but when I visited, the restaurant seemed dusty and the food appeared to have been sitting out for a while. It's not a place I would want to dine at, which is why I have not returned. There is a lovely Italian cafe and health food store just a bit further up the street near Clapton Pond, which I highly recommend instead. I am surprised that this restaurant is still in operation.
I came across this restaurant with a faded and barely visible sign, and had to stumble upon it to find it. Upon entering, I noticed that it seemed as though the restaurant had just recently opened, as it was sparsely furnished with only a few racks and a mostly empty refrigerator. The food on offer appeared to be mostly dry and packaged goods, with some toiletries, mainly from Caribbean suppliers. It was unclear if they offered a lot of organic options. The service was lacking, as the man working there seemed to be avoiding me, possibly due to shyness or being under the influence. He mentioned that they would be receiving more stock in two weeks. The prices for the Caribbean products were not clearly marked, making it difficult to determine if they were worth it. I hope that they have received more stock since my visit.
The experience at this restaurant was consistent with what was described in another review that I remember. It appears to be rarely open, and when I did find it open, it seemed quite neglected. This might have been acceptable over a year ago, but I also noticed that the restaurant was dusty and the food seemed old. It's not a place I would want to dine at, which is why I haven't returned. There is a lovely Italian café and health food shop nearby on Clapton Pond that is much better. I am surprised that this restaurant is still in business.
The sign for this place is faded/dusky and I found it just stumbled. I thought it just opened because the load was largely naked. there were a few racks and a fridge that were mostly naked. it is dry/packaged eating and there were also some toilet articles, mostly Caribbean camps. not sure that there is a lot of organic matter. it was hard to get any service from the man there that tried to avoid me. Maybe he was just shy or maybe he was stoned. he said it would get in two weeks more camps. I have only seen some prices for some Caribbean care products, and I have no indication of how much they should cost so I can't get worth it. Hopefully, they've been storing more.
