The Griffin - East Lindsey

Easily the worst pub in Chapel ! Beer maybe ok if you ever get served ! Staff seem to be too busy talking between themselves! Premises needs a complete makeover ! No doubt they will not miss my custom ! I certainly will not miss going back !

I'm in Chapel St. Leonards for a week. Been to this pub for a couple of hours today. Brilliant. Very friendly staff and locals, very, very dog friendly. Nice music playing. I'll be going back. Didn't have food but may try. Relaxing place to go.

Traditional pub where you can sit outside with a nice pint and watch the world go by. Staff are great and the locals are friendly. Would definitely visit again!!!

The Griffin (big griff) has all the charm of a working men’s club in the late 90’s as the decor and furniture hasn’t been changed since. The lack card machine meant it was cash only, which added to the nostalgia (just a shame that all the notes are plastic now)! All in all the staff ran a tight ship, keen to uphold all data protection laws, which I can assure you is breath of fresh air for some of us. Can’t wait to go back in a couple of years and see what’s left of the flakey seats.

Probably should stick to just being a pub. Food not up to much. Advertising very cheap meals. Reflected in poor quality
