Bidra med feedbackThat was recommended by a cucumber. in the rule not to visit a restaurant that is only famous for something like innocent as hummus, but that was incredible!
We had hummus, falafel, and ful and they were all fresh and delicious.
Abu Shukri is probably a wellknown hummus place in old city. Not only tourists but also local are coming here to eat. They serve good hummus and falafel, nothing fancy but delish. The salad was just okay, i ate way to better versions of arabic salads in Israel. The thing is, they have very low hygiene standarts in this restaurant. The huge opened bean boxes were just around the WC door. The restroom was in a bad conduction -which is not unusual in Jerusalem, but the food must be kept in a clean place!
Very good falafel, decent hummus but the prices are very high. Good place if you are in an emergency, but take it outside of the city walls if you want decently priced falafel.
Its unique falafels are just incredible and they serve it together with all fresh veggies! I would go for 4 extra falafels, ask them if you arrive sit down a be noticed so they will come and ask what would u like? There is only one option, hummus with falafels! Btw hummus was not my favourite sadly, but the falafels were the best I tried!
