Bidra med feedbackUsed to be a reliable slice nearby, but new owners and you can't get a traditional pie there anymore. They serve a focaccia bread-style pizza now. Bad strategy. You buy a place that's been successful for 50 years, keep the name, but don't offer the thing that brought in 90% of the customers over the years??? Serve both styles! I would have been there at least half a dozen times over the summer and tried a few other things on the menu in the process, but I haven't been back and might never be. The food at my new pizza place is pretty darn good and don't see a reason to go anywhere else!
It's new owners and it's terrible. They give you the menu and then tell you what's not available! Two weeks ago my friend ordered a glass of Sauvignon blanc and they were out of it. They still are! The pizza isn't good and the prices way too high. A coke and a plate of pasta with clam sauce was $39.00 They automatically put twenty percent tip on the bill. I usually tip twenty percent but I want to make the decision, not the restaurant. This used to be a very reasonable family restaurant. Not any more, don't waste your time or your money.
We ate here tonight. Our first night in the Hamptons. Food was below average. We ordered ravioli with vodka sauce, chicken piccata and baked ziti. Food might have tasted better had the service been better. We ordered with the older blondish women at the take out window. I wish we had just left after our first interaction with her. Rude doesn't cover it! I don't need to be treated like that by anyone. The meal was over $100 and far from worth it. Do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else.
Delicious food as always. My wife and I ordered online for pickup and it was fantastic being able to order at 5:30 for 6:45 pickup. Everything was hot and delicious! We miss being able to eat in and chat with the wait staff but happy we can still enjoy the great food.
Am so happy that I found Felice's! The eggplant rollatini, salad and pasta was delicious! I was in need of comfort food as I sprained and/or broke my ankle on the first night of my short vacation and wanted something to cheer me up. Thank you Felicie's Restaurant and John, the very nice owner.
