Bowery Bay Cafe - EAST ELMHURST

Surprises the other reviews. Had the best grilled salmon sandwich I ever had. Nice atmosphere. The service was somewhat gruff, but overall was good and efficient. Several good beer selections. Before safety, unfortunately, but also during shutdown safety went fast. The prices were reasonable, even for NYC. Reposting from a review I wrote elsewhere. Still surprised. Maybe New Yorkers are a tough crowd?

The service is slow, but hey, people don't hold that there is one or two bartenders for 40-50 people at a time. It's a wonder what they can do here when you look at the sheer amount of workload. The drinks are great, definitely a 5 stars for an airport bar.

I'm not sure why this place doesn't get 5 star reviews, but I can tell you this: the bartender I had here was the hands down from the best bartender I ever had! I don't remember his name, but if you go to this bar, you'll find the bartender that looks like Steph Curry with the handlebar's mule! You will not be disappointed!

Very impressive supplement, as LGA actually becomes a half-decent airport! Beautiful open environment with views of the air, good food (menu has excellent choice) and fast service, drink has been refilled regularly. No complaints, would definitely visit again.
