Bidra med feedbackWe call in here often for coffee, breakfast or lunch and have never been disappointed. Staff are friendly, very good and welcoming. Just a lovely place to have close by. Thank you all.
Nice place. We had a warm welcome. The staff were friendly and game for a laugh. Food was really nice.
Stopped off for breakfast to kill some time before an appointment. Parking across the road is very handy but only allowed to stop for 30 minutes. Longer parking available nearby if needed but the service was so quick that 30 minutes sufficed. Wimbourne appears to have more breakfast places than you can shake a chipolata at but I chose the Cloisters based on previous reviews. I can affirm all the good things that have been said already. Staff are friendly and efficient, food is excellent and portions are good. I had scrambled eggs on toast with bacon and a side order of hash browns (out of curiosity since someone on here had said they were very good). Everything was freshly cooked and the hash browns were indeed excellent! The coffee is good too. If ever I am in Wimbourne again I will definitely eat here.
It was okay we’ve been highly anticipating visiting due to their famous tea cakes but had sold out. We grabbed lunch instead. My partner had a halloumi toastie and was a little sad to see it was 2 very thin slices of halloumi on each side with nothing else inside (no chilli jam, seasons etc), so very bland and plain for £6.50. I had a Caesar salad which was tasty but disappointing supermarket packet style chicken rather than cooked whole breast, this was £10.50 I think. So yeah wouldn’t rush back. But super friendly staff clean.
Went for lunch with my wife, great food and coffees and a good selection of cakes. Friendly staff and a good central location in one of the prettiest towns in Dorset. Well worth a visit.
