Bollywood Tadka - East Brunswick

Although the food was good, I wouldn't eat again in Bollywood Tadka because the service was so bad. I was ignored when entering the restaurant, although the restaurant was practically empty. They sat an Indian couple coming after me before they even acknowledged me. When I finally sat, it took a while to get someone to take my order, and I finally had to get up, go to the counter and ask my check to go. Food, no matter how good, could never get rid of the bad taste that this place has left in my mouth.

This was my third visit to Bollywood Tadka, and I had a pleasant experience of every visit. The food is always delicious, and the service is always good. Our water glasses were always full. BYOB is a big plus. A great Indian cuisine for the area.

We were one of two occupied tables. I had to ask two people to put my open table reservation in the computer. The waiter had a hard time to understand our order, and I had to correct it a few times to make sure we get what we ordered, I ordered Cocoanut soup and it was watery with very little cocoa nut.. My Companion's main course was served, but my order and rice and bread took another 5 minutes to come. No excuses were offered. I would rate the food with better Indian restaurants in the area.

The first time here. Food was excellent! Service attentive. Table a little overcrowded, but not excessive, and they brought another to treat all the food we ordered!
