Coco Ichibanya Curry Irvine In Irv

We were craving Japanese curry so we stopped by Coco Ichibanya. It hit the right spot although I was say the one in Japan was much better than this location. Overall good food and now limited with Curry House no longer around.

Worst manager. We ordered omelet curry. Manager refused to give us on his personal reasons and he is very rude

Love the food. Wait times are minimal. Like having a separate take-out center.

Last time I ate Coco's curry was back in 2017 Okinawa Japan. Ever since then there's only 2 places in the US that had good Japanese curry. This is the 3rd. It's not the same as the one in Japan of course but i still couldn't help but compare. I've ordered my usual level 2 chicken katsu with veggies, spinach, cheese, and hard boiled egg. After that first bite, I realized it was legit! Definitely worth the drive. My picky eater toddler loved the kids meal. There's the usual button on the table to call for service. The only thing different was the size of the Naan. Other than that, it was amazing. Yummy food and friendly staff. I would definitely come back here again.

This place is always tasty. Lines are terrible if you eat in but if you get it to go they have the take out place separately next door.
