Bistro Italiano

The meal and atmosphere were fantastic. I can picture this place being extremely busy on a Saturday, but when I went on a Sunday, we were seated right away even though the restaurant was packed by 7:30 pm. The service, food, and ambience were all excellent. I can't wait to come back next time I'm in Durham.

The food at this restaurant was fantastic! The service was excellent and everything we tried was delicious. We started with two appetizers, one with haggis and the other with cheese, both of which were incredibly tasty. For our main course, we had the chicken which was also very good. Even with dessert and two drinks, we only spent about £50 which was a reasonable price. I highly recommend this place!

The appetizers were fantastic. The mushroom starter was lighter than I expected, which was a pleasant surprise. The scallops with chorizo were also delicious! The main dishes were just as tasty. The ribeye steak with chips was cooked perfectly and came with a delicious stilton sauce. The salmon was also cooked well and came with a choice of rice or chips - I opted for rice. For dessert, we tried the tiramisu and Nonna's lemon pie, both were delicious! The lemon pie, in particular, tasted homemade. Although I would have preferred more relaxing music to match the ambience, the affordable prices and high quality food make this restaurant worth a visit. I definitely recommend it.

What a great little place. first visit yesterday and will not be the last. the place has a beautiful atmosphere, personal very friendly and attentive. eating was tremendous. recommend in any case
