Bidra med feedbackI’m the only vegan in my family but my whole family loves this place. If you want soul food cooking that taste like it’s straight out of grandma’s kitchen this place is for you! I always order seconds.
Soul Good Vegan Cafe has sadly closed as of December 2020. The location has since turned into another vegan restaurant, unrelated to the first, that similarly serves awesome vegan food from healthy to soul! The food is awesome and the owners are always around and are super cool. Here’s their menu with hours and contact info.
This place is absolutely fantastic! Vegan soul food done just like I remember. The greens and cornbread alone would've made a great meal for me and were seasoned perfectly. Quaint little space that feels like home. Great family run business that I'm proud to support. Not just good food, but food that's good for the body and soul which is something our community needs desperately. Thank you so much for a great dining experience, I am looking forward to dining with you again.
Great vegan food. They didn't have the jackfruit ready so if that's your focus is call ahead to make sure it's prepare. Most if the menu is soy based btw. The greens were dynamic and so was the mac and cheese. You'll love it trust me.
Great food! We're not vegan but will be back for the food and lovely atmosphere. The chickpeas were full of flavor and cooked to just the right tenderness. The rice was cooked perfectly, not to dry and a nice mild flavor. The kale was spicy and a bit too salty but yummy. The cornbread was moist but not cake like, some of the best cornbread I've ever had. The plaintains we're also really delicious and not overly sweet or greasy. The jackfruit had a good barbecue sauce on it and tasted a lot like be barbecue to me. There was an African theme decor. You can eat outside too. They have some interesting sodas and vegan cupcakes and cookies and pie.
