Fantastic warm inviting room. Much bigger than outside. The bar has an excellent selection of ales to suit any taste. The two I had were in amazing condition. combs full of berries. Large collection of gins and a wide selection of whiskys. A must in Darlington for those who love big beer and friendly faces.

Great pub, great selection of whiskeys, more than enough to choose from. Friendly and fantastic beers, ales and even stout! If you are a local or visiting then you need to make a visit to this instant local institution. Superb atmosphere, prefer the local, homes sweet home Ale and it was perfect. I'll be back.
