Matatlan Mexican - Durham

People always ask why I don't go anywhere else for Mexican food but Matatlan. Simple answer, because the food is always great and the staff is awesome. I will be a client for life and Fidel is always friendly and I enjoy talking about Soccer while enjoying the best food in town.

Good food. Excellent service. I always order my 'Caldo de pollo ', (Mexican Chicken Soup, original), to go . However, last time I visited it, I decided to eat there, so my pictures let you know.

The restaurant offers a variety of delicious food and beverages, however, prices have increased recently. Despite the price change, the quality of the food remains excellent. It is worth noting that the hours of operation are limited.

The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious and made with fresh ingredients. I have never been let down by my dining experience here.

As a Texan, I am always on the lookout for authentic cuisine and this place did not disappoint! I highly recommend trying the pineapple fajitas for lunch - they were epic. The hot sauce is available upon request and the lime green sauce is also delicious.
